• Continually develop original and fresh techniques to enhance the guest service onboard
• Use guest feedback and ratings to establish a positive culture throughout the guest services team
• Enforce organizational policies and procedures of monetary items regarding the Front Desk
• Develop and promote success of the management and supervisory teams onboard
• Enforce the delivery of standards, efficiencies, services and quality within the guest services department onboard
• Perform related duties as required

Onboard Training Specialist, Cruise Ship

The Training Specialist is part of an onboard two trainer team that execute training designed by headquarters. She or he oversees ship training center. Conducts general training courses including but not limited to Hospitality, Company Orientation, Ship Familiarization, Management Training, and Customer Service Training. Responsible for all related record keeping.

Coordinate and assist with company recognition programs, including Vacation Hero

Requirements:
* At least 2 years of training experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
* Platform and stand up training experience required.

This position is a four month onboard contract followed by two months paid vacation before returning for another four months. Potential candidates must have a minimum of two years proven Training and Development experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide professional internal consulting that creates measurable performance solutions and long-term growth and development for all Royal Caribbean employees
• Confer with management to gain knowledge of specific work
• Maintain training records of the staff
• Consult with management to conduct training and development needs analysis that identifies what knowledge and skills of officers, staff and crew need to perform at or above our brand performance standards
• Full accountability for the execution and delivery of the New Hire Welcome and Orientation programs for all new shipboard employees joining the company
• Audit and prepare reports for shore side and shipboard management of employee training
• Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, diversity, harassment, ethics, guest service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, leadership and managerial training, and promotional development

As Assistant Guest Services Manager you will report to the Manager Guest Services. Your role will be to supervise daily operations of Front Desk and Guest services, leading a team of Guest Services Hosts, follow up on daily assignments, handle any Guest services issues.

You will be responsible for:

• Implement training and development for Guests services and Concierge
• Monitor the daily bank out process for crew
• Maintain a cash float
• Assist in all other areas of Guests Services and/or Crew office

Required experience/qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years shipboard experience.
• Tourism and Hospitality certification.
• Knowledge of Immigration and Customs regulations.
• Cash Handling Experience
• Proven ability to deliver excellent service
• Excellent communication skills + self presentation
• Ability to multi task

Rotation: 4 months on / 2 months off
