Core Functions
• Liaises with Human Resources Department for recruitment, job grading, training, promotions and consults with the Human Resources Department on disciplinary matters
• Monitors and reports on the performance of Administration Staff as required develops budgets and manages approved budgets; ensures cost per case based on care protocols and case mixes
• Ensures that the Unit’s Plant and Equipment are maintained in good working condition to minimize downtime and to facilitate a sustained level of delivery of quality patient care
• Identifies training needs of the Administrative staff of the PSU, particularly with a view to multi-skilling
• Orders and maintains supplies and equipment at an efficient level relative to output.
