Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the planning, scheduling and execution of all service department functions
• Supervise and control work load service technicians
• Schedule service work according to priority and maintains an orderly flow of work
• Advises customer of necessary repair service including estimates of cost, also makes recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance
• Handler’s customer compliant problems pertaining to service and repair work
• Prepares cost estimations to supplement sales quotations
• Ensures coordination of parts and inventory with procurement department for projects
• Prepares project schedule for each project for tracking and execution
• Estimates the time and material costs required for projected jobs
• Assist with the administration of all vendors contracts
• Ensure both PM and repair work orders schedule are completed and closed out in a timely manner
• Acts as project manager/coordinator for capital projects
• Develops service advertising and promotion programs and assists sales manager on developing SLAs
• Performs monthly contracted service support plans and gives on site supervision over technicians when necessary and on high priority projects
• Must be able to assign work to technicians who can work unsupervised and who may be required to lead or manage major installations with other disciplines and contractors
• Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position and capability
