Key Duties
Under the direction of the Director General this position has organization wide responsibility for the development and successful implementation of the communication strategy for the Secretariat. The job includes:
• Development of the communications strategy and implementation plan
• Organizing media interviews, and outreach activities,
• Development and on-going enhancement of the content of the OECS website,
• Preparation of press releases,
• Marketing of promotional items,
• Facilitating staff participation in general public activities,
• Assessing developments in the OECS Community and assisting the Secretariat to prepare responses to them.
• Facilitating dialogue among stakeholders.
