Deputy Director/Deputy Registrar, Anguilla

1.Act for the Director/Registrar in his/her absence

2.Liaise with customers to provide technical advice, guidelines and clarification as necessary.

3.Draft land related policies consistent with macro-economic and strategic development considerations.

4.Conduct hearings to resolve disputes.

5.Demarcate property boundaries.

6.Produce maps and charts of Anguilla and its territorial waters.

7.Supervise the updating of the LIS and Land Registry Data Base.

8.Perform other related duties as required by the job function.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The incumbent must possess well developed theoretical and practical land administration knowledges and skills, working knowledge of the statutory and regulatory frameworks within which this function operates, calculative and analytical ability, communicative and interpersonal skills as well as an effective understanding of the management function.

These knowledges, skills and abilities are normally obtained in the process of the acquisition of a university degree in land administration, law or a related field and at least a diploma in land surveying, and at least three (3) years working experience in the land registration and land surveying functions.
