To administer the development and implementation of effective programmes and activities geared towards promoting Victoria Mutual’s image, products and services.

The successful candidate will have general knowledge of the financial sector, markets, products and services, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for advertising and promoting products or services.

S/he will be responsible for:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the development and communication of Promotional programmes, events and activities.
• Participate in the proposal of initiatives to be included in a calendar of events and accompanying budget for Trade Shows, Expositions and sales opportunities based on sales/market research.
• Plan, execute and supervise the preparation of Trade Shows and expositions .
• Coordinate the preparation of all promotional material by agencies and other service providers and measure sales efforts/results from each event.

Marketing Assistant, Advertising & Promotions, Jamaica

The successful candidate will possess general knowledge of the financial sector, markets, products and services. S/he will have a minimum three (3) years’ experience in the field of Marketing, Public Relations or Advertising.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist with the development and execution of Marketing and Corporate Affairs Plans in accordance with the Group’s objectives.
• Recommend, plan, and organize seminars, trade shows and expositions and coordinate the preparation of all promotional material for use at the selected events.
• Assist in the proposal, development and maintenance of a corporate loyalty programme.
• Prepare and submit a proposal for the coordination and maintenance of an internal promotion programme.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Assistant, Budget and Inventory Control to ensure that the appropriate levels of collateral material are available within the branches (e.g. Brochures, pamphlets, branding material etc.) and makes recommendation for addition to the suite and replacement as necessary.
• Compile quotations and order collateral and promotional material with the approval of the Vice President or Unit Head.

Marketing Manager, Trinidad

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic Marketing Plan for the Company, as informed by the Company’s Strategic Action Plan. Through the marketing plan, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives. Key responsibilities will include, overseeing all related marketing, advertising and promotional activities and staff, as well as the evaluation of customer research, market conditions, and competitor data toward adjustments to the marketing plan as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement 3-year Marketing Plan.
• Develop and implement Year-1 Operational Plan.
• Develop and implement activities/programmes to effectively market and promote company’s projects, the company’s image, and the entertainment industry in general.
• Plan and Coordinate Programmes, Projects, and Activities to ensure effective reach to key markets, including – but not limited to:

– Industry Members – Trinidad & Tobago and International
– Stakeholders – Trinidad & Tobago
– Related / Affiliated Organizations and Corporations in the Entertainment Community – Trinidad & Tobago
– Industry Suppliers – Trinidad & Tobago, and International
