You will contribute to business continuity through execution of the following key roles and responsibilities:

• Direct/control the. fleet maintenance management programme.
• Manage the preventive maintenance process.
• Ensure employee technical training.
• Be responsible for the overall coordination and evaluation of all work output from senior technicians/technicians and contractors.
• Directly supervise office clerks and other non-supervisory employees.
• Foster a rewarding and motivational culture while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, manuals and catalogues to figure out how to make repairs

Director of Operations and Maintenance, Jamaica

Reporting to the Regional Director, the incumbent will be accountable for the continuous efficient operations of the physical plant of the hospitals, health centres and the Regional Office. The candidate who is organized and flexible will achieve continuous maintenance improvements through innovative designs and the use of developing technology.

Minimum Requirements:
• BSc. Degree in Engineering
• Certificate in Management Studies
• Four (4) years’ experience at the management level in a mission critical organization in the service industry
• Expertise in the maintenance of Boilers /Steam Generation, Air Conditioning, and Standby Generators.
• Working knowledge of Bio-medical and or electronic equipment would be a definite asset.
• Project Management training & experience
• Ability to effectively handle multiple and complex tasks simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience using an automated Preventative Maintenance System
• Strong interpersonal, written, oral, time management, decision making and planning skills.
• Proven track record in a similar capacity would be an asset.

Responsibilities will include:
• Supervision of Project Management, Supply Management and Procurement activities
• Preparation of the Operations and Maintenance Annual Budget
• Implementation and management of an efficient Preventative Maintenance programme
• Monitoring the efficiency of each facility and provide recommendations for improvement of the physical plant and its operations

Electrical Engineer, Bahamas

Essential Duties/Responsibilities (5-7 Maximum):

• Oversee projects from inception to completion with safety and efficiency the primary goal.
