This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and their respective Department. Provides comprehensive primary patient care and education to assigned caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients. Demonstrates clinical competence in the management of the low risk obstetrical patient during the ante partum, intra partum and postpartum period and the ability to co-manage the high risk patient in collaboration with the attending obstetrician when indicated. Documents assessments which accurately determines the patient’s condition and reflects knowledge of current nursing practice standards. Documents a comprehensive, goal oriented plan of care which is outcome based and meets the patient’s needs throughout the course of treatment. Demonstrates the ability to assess the newborn and render emergency care when indicated. Delegates tasks/assignments to staff as appropriate. Follows up on assigned tasks to insure successful patient outcomes. Must have a current VI CNA certification. Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer BLS and NRP certifications. Must be comfortable working with computers.

Environmental Enforcement Officer III, St. Thomas, USVI

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Investigates resident’s complaints relating to waste disposal and handling, and performs “windshield” inspections of business, public and private properties to ensure compliance with Title 19, chapter 56 and Title 29, Chapter 8 of the VIC and all related rules and regulations.
• Investigates incidents of illegal dumping of waste and seeks to indentify the responsible party(s): conducts follow-up and subsequent closure of all assigned complaints and/or investigations.
• Serves violators Orders for Corrective Actions (OCA), Notices of Non-Compliance (NONC) and other Administrative Orders (AO).
• Indentifies and recommends penalties for environmental damages caused by violators
• Initiates injunctive actions to halt and limit environmental damages, and prescribes remedial actions as necessary to restore appropriate environmental conditions.
• Review all Environmental Enforcement Officers work orders, investigates reports and complies and prepares monthly summaries of activities.
• Prepares work schedules for approval by Division Director and/or Senior Compliance Officer.
• Provides oversight, leadership, guidance and assistance to Environmental Enforcement Officers and trainee while in the field
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent;
• Two years of experience in security or one year as a law enforcement officer is preferred;
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record. No criminal record;
• Must be skilled in the operation of automobiles, telephone switchboard, two-way radios, alarm systems, and computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, and e-mail programs;
• Certification for or receive certification within one year of appointment in Cardio

• Ability to follow directions, work and analyze problems quickly and take appropriate action under stress;
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, rotating shift assignments including weekends and holidays and emergency situations;

• Ability to climb three flights of stairs without stopping, and lift up to 75 pounds and drag it 50 feet.
